ASTM D 6083 is the standard specification for liquid-applied acrylic coatings used in roofing, designated by ASTM International which is a standard organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services. 

Solargard 6083 is a durable, asbestos free, acrylic elastomeric roof coating that offers low temperature flexibility, great resistance to weathering, and resists dirt pick-up.  It waterproofs and weatherproofs metal, weathered single ply membranes, and smooth surface asphalt built-up and modified bitumen roofs.
